By creating an account, accessing, or using the ChaiTalk app and website (together, the \"Service\"), you agree to these Terms.\n\nIf you do not agree, do not create an account and stop using the Service.\n\nEligibility\n\nYou must be at least 13 years old to use ChaiTalk. By creating an account, you represent that you are 13 or older and that any information you provide during sign-up is accurate.\n\nWe do not knowingly allow accounts for users under 13. If we learn an account belongs to a user under 13, we will remove it. In countries where the minimum digital-consent age is higher than 13 (some EU member states require 16 under GDPR-K), users between the local minimum and our minimum must have verifiable parental consent.\n\nYour account\n\nYou must provide accurate information at sign-up and keep it current.\n\nOne person, one account. Multiple accounts may be removed.\n\nYou are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.\n\nYou must notify us promptly at support@chaitalk.app if you believe your account has been compromised.\n\nYou may not transfer your account to anyone else.\n\nYou may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.\n\nYour content\n\nYou own what you post. ChaiTalk does not claim ownership of the text, images, voice notes, videos, or other content you submit to the Service (\"Your Content\").\n\nYou grant ChaiTalk a license to host and display it. So that we can show your content to other users, you grant ChaiTalk a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable license to use, host, store, display, reproduce, modify (for technical purposes like resizing or compressing), and distribute Your Content on and through the Service. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except where:\n\nYour Content has been shared with others who have not deleted it (the copy on their side persists until they delete it).\n\nWe are required by law to retain it.\n\nIt is kept on backup media for a reasonable, time-limited period before being overwritten.\n\nYou are solely responsible for Your Content. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that Your Content does not violate any law or these Terms.\n\nProhibited conduct\n\nYou agree not to use the Service to:\n\nPost, share, or transmit content that is sexually explicit, sexually suggestive involving minors, violent, gory, or otherwise harmful.\n\nPost content that promotes hate, discrimination, or violence against people based on identity (race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability).\n\nHarass, bully, threaten, or intimidate any person.\n\nPost content that infringes any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.\n\nImpersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.\n\nSpam, send unsolicited bulk messages, or attempt to mass-create accounts.\n\nScrape, harvest, or otherwise extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted.\n\nAttempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, including by exploiting vulnerabilities, brute-forcing credentials, or bypassing rate limits.\n\nUse the Service to engage in illegal activity, including the sale of regulated goods or services without proper authorization.\n\nUse automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the Service except through public APIs that we explicitly publish.\n\nViolations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban under the enforcement ladder in our Community Guidelines.\n\nReporting + moderation\n\nYou can report content or other users that you believe violate these Terms by tapping the 3-dot menu on any post, story, short, comment, or profile. We review reports through a combination of automated systems and human moderators.\n\nWe may, without notice and at our discretion: remove content, suspend an account, or permanently ban an account that violates these Terms.\n\nReports submitted in bad faith (false reports made to harass) may themselves result in enforcement against the reporter.\n\nAccount deletion + suspension\n\nYou may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete my account. When you request deletion:\n\nYour account enters a 30-day grace window. During this window, your account is hidden from other users but recoverable by logging back in.\n\nAfter 30 days, your personal data is permanently deleted, your posts are anonymized to \"Deleted user\", and the underlying media files are removed.\n\nSome data is retained beyond deletion: moderation reports filed by or against you, transaction records, and backups for a limited rotation period.\n\nWe may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine that you have violated these Terms or our Community Guidelines, or that your continued use of the Service poses a risk to other users.\n\nCopyright takedown\n\nWe respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on ChaiTalk infringes your copyright, send a notice to copyright@chaitalk.app with:\n\nA description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.\n\nA link to the infringing content on ChaiTalk.\n\nYour contact information.\n\nA statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.\n\nYour physical or electronic signature.\n\nWe will respond promptly to valid notices and may remove the content while we investigate. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.\n\nDisclaimer of warranties\n\nThe Service is provided \"AS IS\" and \"AS AVAILABLE\", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.\n\nWe do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content posted by users.\n\nLimitation of liability\n\nTo the maximum extent permitted by law, ChaiTalk and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:\n\nYour access to, use of, or inability to use the Service.\n\nAny conduct or content of any user or third party on the Service.\n\nAny unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.\n\nIn no event shall the aggregate liability of ChaiTalk exceed the greater of one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amount you paid to ChaiTalk in the past twelve months (which, for our free Service, is zero).\n\nIndemnification\n\nYou agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ChaiTalk and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:\n\nYour access to or use of the Service.\n\nYour violation of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.\n\nYour violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights.\n\nAny content you post, share, or transmit through the Service.\n\nGoverning law + dispute resolution\n\nThese Terms are governed by the laws of [Egypt, primary] \u002F [South Korea, secondary], without regard to conflict of laws principles.
